Sequoia Heights Resort

Sequoia Heights Resort- Location, Location, Location!!

We have a new resort we’re launching!!

It’s in downtown Pigeon Forge! Just a quick walk down the hill and you are in the thick of all Pigeon Forge has to offer, including Rod Runs and Dolly‘s parade! Life is good! I’ll never forget the first time I drove through Pigeon Forge at night with my grandkids: “Yia Yia!! Look, Yia, look, look – you’ve got to see this, Yia Yia!” (My kids have been calling me Yia Yia since the first grandchild… It’s Greek for grandmother. And it fits…) There is no way I’m telling a grandchild no. I could barely tell my children no. I don’t even like telling myself no. That’s where my husband, Mike, comes in. He speaks plenty of no’s for all of us. It’s great he leaves all the yes’s for me to say!

So this resort is all about location. It’s for the extroverts who have children who want to feel like they’re staying in the middle of Dollywood theme park. Each cabin will be an entertainment center in and of itself. They will be two bedrooms – one on the main floor with an open floor plan great room with walls of glass. There will be a kitchen off the great room with a bar for overflow seating. You can have all your kids lined up for breakfast. As you go up the stairs to the top bedroom, you’ll pass built-in bunk beds, which will make this cabin sleep and rent like a three-bedroom.

But the best part is the lower “adventure level”: complete with an indoor pool, game room, and media lounge. There are also decks off of the main floor and the lower floor. Vacation doesn’t get any better than this, truly!

We will be breaking ground on the first group of these in September. Want to know the pricing? Give us a call, and we would be happy to discuss your options!

In order to qualify, you will need to bring a construction loan that can roll over to a permanent loan. We can recommend a lender for this. You also need to outfit it yourself, but we can hook you up with great furniture providers.

We expect construction to be between six and eight months if the weather cooperates and Covid doesn’t throw us any more curveballs. Certainly, construction will be less than a year.

This resort promises to be one of the favorite places to stay in downtown Pigeon Forge for years to come!!
